The pressure to translate the science of how to be healthy began when I was 14.

My mom had developed gestational diabetes during her pregnancy with my youngest sister. One evening on our way home, mom dozed off behind the wheel at every stop light along the way. Her blood sugar had crashed.

I understood in that moment I never wanted someone I love to be so vulnerable and miserable regarding their health.

Since then, I’ve spent over 15 years working to help individuals take the guesswork out of using food and strength as medicine.
